Research Topic:
My PhD project focuses on the structural investigation of self-assembled organometallocavitands and the introduction of pillarplexes or pillarplex-rotaxanes as functional building blocks to form network materials. While developing suitable synthetical routes, the network materials will be tested towards their properties and responsivity, such as luminescence, porosity and pH-switchability.
