Research focus:

In the group of Thomas Fässler I work in the field of computational chemistry. My research focuses on cluster compounds and their behavior both in solution and in the solid state. Using quantum-chemical methods, I investigate their reactivity, bonding situations, and electronic structures, as well as dynamic processes that occur within clusters. The goal of my work is to better understand the fundamental factors that govern the stability, transformations, and chemical properties of these complex systems.
