Welcome to the Raman & SEM Group
Labs: 32213 & 32214 & 32201
Head: PD Dr. Natalia P. Ivleva
Our principal aim is to extend applicability of the Raman Microscpectroscopy (RM) and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) for environmental analytical chemistry.
The research fields and competences of our group are
Nondestructive 2D & 3D-chemical analysis by Raman Microscpectroscopy, Surface-enhanced Raman Scattering (SERS) and Stable Isotope Raman Microspectroscopy (SIRM)
Identification and quantification of (microplastic) particles and fibers down to 1 µm
Raman-based size resolved characterization of particles in nano-size range
In situ 2D & 3D chemical analysis of surfaces /membranes and biofilms
Stable Isotope Raman Microspectroscopy for analysis of pollutant biodegradation
Characterization of micro- and nanoparticles and surfaces by Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (in combination with Cryo approach) and EDX
Fractionation and characterization of particles from 1 nm to 50 µm by Field Flow Fractionation (in combination with online couled Raman Microspectroscopy)
