Project

Title: Eco-efficient lightweight construction based on biogenic carbon fibers from algae cultivation and thermoplastic Automated Fiber Placement with in-situ consolidation as production process

Description of the Project

The project TUM CleanCarbon aims at the creation of a basis in the academic research environment to enable the Flightpath 2050 goals by producing carbon fibers from biogenic sources and processing them into structures in a direct consolidation process as resource-efficient as possible.
