Determination of H2 adsorption heat in aqueous phase by reaction kinetics and the influence on Metal/Zeolite catalyzed hydrodeoxygenation of biomass-derived molecules
Bio-oil derived from liquefaction or pyrolysis of lignin is considered as a promising source for second-generation bio-derived energy carriers. A hopeful route to improve the properties of bio-oil is the catalytic hydrotreatment called hydrodeoxygenation (HDO). The interest in the our research is concentrated on the determination of H2 adsorption heat in aqueous phase by reaction kinetics and its influence on the catalytic mechanism in controllable HDO of biomass derived molecules into fuel range hydrocarbons.
