Welcome!

The electrification of everything and emission free chemical production creates an imperative to rapidly discover and upscale materials and processes for energy storage and conversion. We catalyze accelerated research on batteries and catalysts using machine learning, autonomous robotics and data science. We don't just optimize materials, components, and processes but complete materials-in-systems such as batteries and chemical reactors. We however don't stop there and also research on accelerating the very way how research is executed.

We're a predominantly experimental group that develops high-throughput synthesis, characterization, assembly and recycling setups. 

We're very interested in interleaving our automated experiments with theory through orchestration frameworks and aim to cover the entire research lifecycle for energy storage and conversion from materials synthesis to system integration.
