Datasets and Software

Our team has developed and contributed to various software frameworks, open-source projects, and datasets that are essential for advancing
materials research and lab automation. It is important to note that we are not responsible for the content of any external sites linked herein.

HELAO (https://github.com/helgestein/helao-pub) is a widely used lab automation framework that was initially created by Helge Stein during his time at JCAP/Caltech and further developed at KIT and TUM. A more recent asynchronous version can be found at https://github.com/High-Throughput-Experimentation/helao-async.

FINALES (https://github.com/BIG-MAP/finale and https://github.com/BIG-MAP/FINALES2/) is an orchestration framework originally developed by Helge Stein, which facilitates the interlinking of multiple research labs.

MADAP (https://github.com/fuzhanrahmanian/MADAP), created by Fuzhan Rahmanian, is an electrochemical data analysis platform. It can be installed using pip and provides a user-friendly interface for analyzing various types of electrochemical data.

AutoBASS (https://github.com/Helge-Stein-Group/AutoBASS) is an open-source battery assembly robot that our team developed and published, sharing all necessary software and hardware files to recreate the robot.

In addition to these projects, we have compiled a selection of datasets to support materials research:

Coin-Cell Reproducibility

A dataset for LNO cathode batteries with Si/C anodes, which is the largest of its kind: https://zenodo.org/record/7299473

Na-Ion Batteries
The largest dataset for Na-ion batteries publicly available. This is from the Master thesis of Leah Nuss: https://zenodo.org/record/7981011

Electrolyte Conductivity
A dataset containing over 5000 electrolyte conductivity measurements, which is the largest of its kind publicly available: https://zenodo.org/record/7244939

Materials Images and Spectra
A dataset for 140.000 materials images, spectra, and their synthesis conditions: https://github.com/helgestein/materials-images-spectra

Pulsed Formation
Pulsed formation datasets published by PhD students from our team: https://zenodo.org/records/10102508 and https://zenodo.org/records/10102627

Formation and additives

A dataset for electrolyte formulation variation using the newest version of AutoBASS: https://zenodo.org/doi/10.5281/zenodo.10465747

Pulsed Formation
