Research focus: Based on previous work at this chair, my research is focused on two goals: Expanding the established alkali metal-metal-phosphorous systems towards earth alkali metals as well as investigating their mixing with alkali metals on the one hand. On the other hand, I experiment with mixing triel and tetrel elements on the beforementioned metal position. After standard solid state syntheses, X-ray methods are mainly used to analyse the products.
