The Chemistry department of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Jürgen Manchot Foundation have awarded the chemist, Professor Mercouri Kanatzidis, the 2015 Wilhelm Manchot Research Professorship. With this award, the TUM honors his pioneering work on thermoelectric materials.
