Research Areas

The main focus of research is the investigation, development and synthetic applications of molecular catalysts. In addition to conventional organometallic systems, enzymes as well as organometall-enzyme-hybrides (OMEH) are studied. The collection of methods applied includes classical organic and organometallic synthesis as well as molecular biology. In close collaboration with the EU-Excellence Team 'Enzyme Microarrays', the microarray-technology is introduced in several projects.
