The main work is in the area of ​​macromolecular chemistry, with high-temperature-resistant polymers, polymers for communication technology, medical applications and membrane materials being the focus. Furthermore, new strategies for the preparation of polymers through transition metal-catalyzed C-C and C-N bonding are being developed. Another focus is metathesis for the representation of monomers and polymers.
