The Team

Group Leader

Mirza Cokoja

Mirza studied Chemistry at the Ruhr-University Bochum (RUB). In 2007, he completed his Dr.rer.nat. in the team of Roland A. Fischer on the synthesis of bimetallic (and highly pyrophoric...) nanoparticles via decomposition of organometallic complexes. Soon after, he joined the group of Bruno Chaudret as postdoc to study the magnetic properties of alumina-coated cobalt colloids. Since April 2009, he has been a researcher at TUM. His research interests are in the fields of multitasking (supra)molecular catalysts, ionic liquids and nanoparticles.
