Research Areas

The research of Prof. Köhler (*1941) involves syntheses of organometallic compounds and instrumental analysis. Sections are novel p ligands and p complexes, molecules having  magnetic (metal) centers and the interaction between such centers. The latter were studied using, inter alia, cyclic voltammetry, EPR spectroscopy, magnetic measurements, and pNMR spectroscopy. The focus was on the delocalization of spin density, ferro-/antiferromagnetism, and spin equilibria.
