Research Topic: COFs for Tuning the Microenvironment of Copper-Based Catalysts in Electrochemical CO2 Reduction
This project aims to improve the selectivity and efficiency of electrochemical CO2 reduction towards multicarbon products. To achieve this, a series of hydrophobic covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are synthesized using functional linker molecules. Novel COF/Cu hybrid structures will serve as catalysts in CO2 electrolysis, where the tailored microenvironment is expected to enhance catalytic performance.
