Project: InViDetect

Title: Development of an in vivo genetic detection platform for selective detection of small molecules and identification of the corresponding enzymes

Description of the Project

The synthetic biotechnology deals with the production of new substances in recombinant organisms using natural gene products that are modified for this purpose both randomly and specifically. The focus of the Werner Siemens Chair of Synthetic Biotechnology is the identification of these enzymes using modern methods of systems biology and omics methods. The goal of this project is the development of an in vivo detection platform based on a transcription activator.
